Open any dialog with a list.
E.g.
Writer > Format > Character .. tab Font Effects
Alt-Down opens list colors
Down ... does nothing
 > should travel through the list items

Couldn't reproduce on 64bit Linux either at the indicated time or on current master.

Somehow 32bit only perhaps?

Gosh, must be something wrong with me running 32 bits :D ..

The bug only appears when you first opened the list with Alt-Down/mouse.

Stephan reports that the problem does not exist with KDE 64 bits with a recent build from master.

For me in Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha1+

Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL.UTF-8) the problem still is there

Seems to happen only with Gnome gtk (3?).
Comment 7 Thomas Hackert 2015-07-12 16:37:45 UTC
Hello Cor, *,
I can confirm this with
Version: 5.0.0.3
Build-ID: f79b5ba13f5e6cbad23f8038060e556217e66632
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8
(parallel installed, following the instructions from https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux) with Germanophone UI and helppack installed on Debian Testing AMD64 with KDE 4.14.2 ... :( But this bug seems to be in all dialogues, where drop-down menues are (e.g. "Tools – Options – LibreOffice – Colors") ... :( It seems, that the dialogue window looses its focus to the window behind (StartCenter, Writer, Calc, whatever) ...
HTH
Thomas.

Typing characters to advance to corresponding list entries also doesn't work.
