Crash data from the MAC

If I try to add a function to this data base as part of the Query_FamilyDebitCreditBalanceReport using either and or if, Libre Office either crashes or goes into an infinite loop. I am attaching the data base and the crash data.

It occurs if I use either the Navigator or the field itself and start defining a function. I type "if" after the "=". Then I type "(" and it crashes. The same thing happens if I double click IF in the function listing or type "and". It happens every time.
