Fill instrument (Draggable plus in the lower right corner of every cell) should have 5 options: 1. Copy format 2. Copy value (default for cells with text foramt) 3. Copy format and value 4. Copy incremental value (If you drag 1 - you will get in the next cells values 2,3,4... with the defined format of every cell) 5. Copy format and incremental value I guess that this 5 options should be in dropdown list if ypu click on right lower corner of the cell. Excel already has only 4 options, so LO may beat Excel if it will be implemented :)
Now it's behavior is unpredictable, so I have even created a bug https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90394
(In reply to Yan Pashkovsky from comment #0) > Fill instrument (Draggable plus in the lower right corner of every cell) > should have 5 options: > 1. Copy format formatting is done via style, set your style and you can copy it any time you want to any cell you want > 2. Copy value (default for cells with text foramt) already implemented, just hold Ctrl at the same time you drag > 3. Copy format and value already there > 4. Created attachment 114526 [details] Screeenshot 2 - agree, didn't know. Maybe popup "Hold CTRL to..." should be implemented 1,3,5 - may be done via other different tools But I can't understand where the 5 is implemented. Look at the screenshot. I want after dragging plus from the A1 cell all cells below become: 1-entry (FORMAT:violet as it was) 2-entry (FORMAT:violet as it was) 3-entry (FORMAT:red as it was) 4-entry (FORMAT:green as it was) 5-entry 6-entry Cells A2-A5 has their own style, they were not formatted manually
"But I can't understand where the 4"* TYPO
1-entry (FORMAT:big font, white background) 2-entry (FORMAT:violet as it was) 3-entry (FORMAT:violet as it was) 4-entry (FORMAT:red as it was) 5-entry (FORMAT:green as it was) 6-entry ....
I guess this request economies two clicks. Closing cause there are easy workarounds
