Description tommaso 2015-04-07 14:43:47 UTC
Using Mysql Connector (native) EXTENSION when i want to get by macro a decimal number using getDouble i get only integer number.

Example:
Dim price as double
Sub ReportInvoice(oEv)
oModel = oEv.Source.getModel
oForm = oModel.getParent
oConn = oForm.ActiveConnection

R_data = "SELECT ""Imponibile"" FROM ""Fattura"" "
oStmt = oConn.createStatement()
oRs = oStmt.executeQuery(R_data)

If oRs.Next Then
price = oRs.getDouble(oRs.findColumn("Imponibile"))
end if

end sub

result of price is 1.00 rather than 1.81

If i connect to Mysql via JDBC or ODBC is all OK but for me MysqlConnector(native) extension is more fast than JDBC or ODBC

I got this problem with MysqlConnector with both version 1.0.1 and last 1.0.4_3 using them also with libreoffice 4.2.6

My Operating System is Linux Mint 17 Kde

Alex, I saw you reacting to bug reports on MySQL native connector, can you comment on this one?
Comment 2 Alex Thurgood 2016-12-13 08:56:30 UTC
Without a sample mysql DB (SQLdump or at least the DDL to create and add data), and a corresponding ODB file containing the forms and macros, there isn't much I can say at the moment.

@tommaso : please provide the requested information for further testing

Setting to NEEDINFO

@tommaso : please also state whether you are using the distro-provided versions of both LibreOffice and the mysql connector extension, or whether you have installed the TDF package for LibreOffice and a mysql connector extension from somewhere else (if such a package even exists). The version number 1.0.4-3 doesn't ring a bell with me, so I'm uncertain where you have got that from.
Comment 3 Alex Thurgood 2016-12-13 08:59:11 UTC
@tommaso : I also understand that current LibreOffice version provided by Linux Mint is 5.1.4.2 - have you tested with this version and do you experience the same problem ?
