Description MassinissaHamidi 2015-04-09 10:00:03 UTC
hi,

When editing in french (france), let's say I did a mistake by typing on the quotation mark key (" , guillemet) which in french language appear like this (»), rather than typing another key. The behavior of the editor is to add automatically a whitespace before the quotation mark character which is absolutely normal.
The problem is that rather than removing only one character i.e. quotation mark, I have to do another additional step by removing the whitespace.
I think this can be improved.

+ Ubuntu 14.04 LTS - 32-bit
+ LibreOffice Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+

step to reproduce:

I did a mistake right her »
Now I have to backspace twice rather than once to continue my stuff.

Please, do not ask LibreOffice to think for you.

Closing as NotOurBug.

hi,

I don't really understand what do you mean by "don't ask LibreOffice to think for you". Do you mean that I can't expect, as a user, an enhancement that can simplify my user experience and make it better?
