Having two computers with LibreOffice 4.4:

1 - Windows 7 x86, Core 2 E6400, 4Gb RAM, Kingston 120 Gb SSD V300
2 - Windows 7 x64, Core i5 M560, 4Gb RAM, Kingston 120 Gb SSD V300

LibreOffice startup times respectively:

1 - 5 seconds
2 - 25 seconds

Tested on LibreOffice 4.2 through 4.4.
It seems that LibreOffice takes longer time to start on a 64-bit system.

Steps done to shorted the startup time:
1. Added a string "127.0.0.1       <Computername>" to the HOSTS file.
2. Reduced the undo steps number in settings down to 30.

Both solutions didn't help.

For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/User_Profile#Windows)
You must know that the next restart will be longer since LO will recreate a brand new profile.

Thank you, resetting the user's profile seems to has solved the problem.

worksforme since we don't have a specific commit fixing this problem.
