Hi, The problem with blurry text in my Writer document seems to have reappeared. A few months ago the suggested solution fixed the problem, but it no longer works. I've checked the info.plist file and the NSHighResolutionCapable is set as true. I've cleared the cache, and also installed the latest Libreoffice version. But the text is still not sharp. This problem applies just to the rendering of the text on the document, not to the actual UI. This might be a bug, or I might be doing something wrong. Is anybody else having this problem? Many thanks, Tom
I don't see any blur on either my 15" Macbook Pro Retina or 27" Thunderbold display, but these are not hiDPI displays to my knowledge.
Can't confirm on a a retina Macbook Pro 10,1 using 4.4.2.2 and Yosemite 10.10.3 — I certainly used to see this bug before. I've tried using the default HiDPI mode (1440 x 900) and my preferred HiDPI mode (1920 x 1200). I can trigger blurry text using dual-monitors: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85499
Thanks for your replies. Yes, should've said that this was on a dual monitor set up. Currently at home, and not having same problem, but problem arises on work monitor. Assume it is the same issue as identified by Iandol. Thanks.
Hi, I still seem to be having this problem with a dual monitor set up. Now, whenever I open up a document, on either the external low res monitor or the retina screen on my macbook, and whether the finder is on either monitor, it is displayed with fuzzy text. I can move it around between windows and no change. If I disconnect my external monitor, the document opens correctly on my macbook. When I plug the monitor back in again, sometimes it will be fine, but sometimes it won't be. If it is fine, and I move the document around on the macbook screen, it might suddenly revert to the fuzzy text. So, all rather weird. Any idea about a possible solution? Thanks again for your replies.
