There is LibreOffice and its portable version. Why not make a LibreOS operating system, along with a portable version of it? I have some good ideas for one, if the idea is acceptable...
LibreOffice is a Office suite not an operating system. Now if you've got some good ideas, don't hesitate to open a bugtracker per idea.
It's precisely because it's not an operating system that I wrote "something diferent than LibreOffice"... I already open a bugtracker per idea when I have something to report about LibreOffice. Hi. I shouldn't mention the bug as an enhancement. It's just something else the team members could dedicate themselves to...that's why I used the words "something diferent than LibreOffice"...and in which Libreoffice could be integrated.
I don’t see the point of your suggestion.
My point is: having a free office suite is good, but the first thing that is needed, before an office suite, is an OS...why not do a free LibreOS, with a portable version to carry in a USB drive, then?... If LibreOffice was made similar to Microsoft Office and free so we didn't have to buy MSOffice, why not do something similar in the OS area as well, dedicated to those who understand Windows and/or Mac and don't to buy it, but don't understand Linux to decide themselves to use it?
