Created attachment 114876 [details] Document and Screenshot that demonstrates the problem. Underling the first bullet point list item after an image will not only underline the text but also the tab between the bullet point and the text. Steps for reproduction: Insert an image into the document. Right below start a bullet point list and underline the first entry. Not only the text but also the tab between the bullet point and the text will be underlined. For further details see attachment.
Please don't set the priority of your bugs - this is horribly over prioritized. Lowering to default. Thanks
I'm able to reproduce in LibreOffice 4.4.2.2 on Kubuntu 15.04 Beta 2.
I would like to add that this only happens if the image wrap is none and the anchor is to paragraph or to character. Moving the anchor in a bullet list with several paragraphs that are all underlined will change which paragraph indentation is underlined.

I have installed version 5.2.1.2 on Windows 10 and this bug is still present. These are the exact and more precise described steps to reproduce: - Create empty document - Insert new image - Set wrap mode of image to none - Create a bullet point list on the same paragraph/below - Type in some text and underline the text When following these steps you can see that the tabulator between the bullet point and the text will be underlined as well, which shouldn't happen. See also the attached document in this bug report.

Bug is still present in LibreOffice 7.2.4.1 on Ubuntu 21.10.
Reproducible on LibreOfficeDev 7.4.0.0. but I have trouble understanding what is normal behavior or not when it comes to lists. I assume that all text decorations (font effects of a paragraph style) should never be applied to the indentation associated with a list style. Only the text decorations (font effects of a character style) for the numbering symbol should apply.
*** Bug 112439 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
*** Bug 132029 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I added some duplicates and change the title to a more explicit one. Note that this report concern all text decorations (overline, underline, strikethrough) and all anchoring object, shape and image result in the same problematic behavior. This issue appears only when Wrap is turned off (none). Also, when "Individual words" option from "Text Decoration" is enabled, all decorations are removed from list numbering symbol and tabulation; which is proof text decoration from the paragraph style should never be applied to them.
(In reply to phv from comment #15) > *** Bug 112439 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Mine (#112439) does not need a graphic to be inserted to trigger the behavior, but, it does need the bullet itself set to be a graphic. In both bugs, mine and this one, the in-between space is formatted just like the first character of the bulleted item. For quick reference, I am quoting the steps to reproduce mine here: 1. Create a new Writer document 2. Right-click > Bullets and Numbering... 3. Go to the Customize tab. 4. Set Number: Graphics. 5. Set Graphics: Select... > Gallery > Choose whatever image; I chose blkpearl. 6. OK (dialog should close). 7. Type HELLO WORLD. 8. Select HELLO WORLD, Right-click > Character... 9. Go to the Font Effects tab. 10. Set Underlining: Single but keep "Individual words" unchecked. It will underline the space between the bullet and the first character, when it shouldn't. My guess is that numbering with graphics corresponds to inserting an image with the attribut Wrap to none by default and anchored to list items. At least, the software engine seems to process this element as such. Therefore, I think what causes the issue is the same even if the steps to reproduce are different. Of course I could be wrong, in which case you can unlink from this one the report previously added.
