Based on the example data base of "BASE Handbuch"  page 55 the database and LO crashes each time I try to fill in the formula, remarkably when I hit the shift-button.

ODB-File is restored all times and LO automatically started with the database opened.

By the way, same effect with Version 5 alpha

The example database for sports? 
Did you create the listfields the right way?

I have tested the database with LO 4.4.2, 4.4.3 and 5.0 alpha - no problem here with OpenSUSE 13.2 64bit rpm Linux.
 
Could you please attach the file here - or contact me directly? I'm the author of the database and the description in the "BASE Handbuch".

The reporter ha send me the example. I couldn't reproduce any buggy behavior with OpenSUSE 13.2 64bit rpm Linux.
Don't know if the buggy behavior could also reproduced with this attachment (original database):

Could be a special Windows-bug?

The reporter wrote me through private mail the buggy behavior appears with Report-Builder and the function-wizard for a textfield.
