In scholarly, legal, and college student writing, a word may be partly wrapped in brackets without spaces, usually because it's in a quotation. Example: "[a]nother". Spellchecking usually shows this as wrong when, to a human, it's obviously right. A spellchecker should be able to ignore brackets if at least one is not spaced on either side from adjacent strings. If a newer version of Writer has this, that's good enough. The version I'm reporting on has still been getting updated even after reputedly being at EOL. I guessed my hardware.
This behavior is not yet in a recent version. I'll set to NEW. Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit Version: 4.4.2.2 Build ID: 40m0(Build:2) Locale: en_US
We've noticed this behaviour at https://hireessaywriter.onl while using spellchecker to proofread college student writing assignments. Probably we need to make sure all the extensions have been installed and set strictly following Wrietr's manuals.
