Goog morning I am on linux mageia 5 and libreoffice 4.4.2.2 X 86 64bits if I try to insert a sound from the Transition menu, I select a sound, but it is played with the key play or whether the slide show is launched. if I choose "another sound" in the list to insert a sound impress open a navigation window. In the lower part of the window there is a button to play a sound file: ilf i click on it , no sound is played. Finally, if I execute the media player, I load an audio file, the player load the file but no sound is heard when you press play. My sound card works well with other applications. tks for your help

Yes, I tried to load 4.4.3.2 the problem is unchanged I returned to Mageia repositories and reload 4.4.2 =>same problèm ! The player in LO seems to load correctely .wav files , the play, pause...buttons are blue but when i click on play => no audio ! the sound works good with Amarock, VLC, Audacity, .... i think to a bad or missing librairy?
Do you have gstreamer installed?

following your question, I tried to uninstall gstreamer ..... fatal error! My computer became unusable !!! I have fully recharged Mageia so I am with Mageia5 and libreoffice 4.4.2.2xx o from magéia déposits. and still not sound in libreoffice! I had a backup disk with magei4 and libreoffice 4.3.xxx : in this config audio works perfectly.! This seems to confirms that there is therefore a problem in LO 4.4?

I unplugged all other drives from my PC except the DVD player. I booted on the DVD and I installed Magéia5 RC on this new hard drive But, just before, I installed mageia 5 live DVD and I kicked open office 4.4.2.2 from the live DVD :the sound is not working! same thing with the external hard drive once installed;
There is a mistrake in my message : But just before Ibooted from DVD and installed Magéia 5 live and i started LibreOffice 4.4.2.2 (I don't kicked it ) sorry for my poor english!
Good morning Today i openned my computer, and libreoffice impress I checked the audio : its working good! I think you have resolved the issue. I have not recharged Libreoffice but I have accepted the MAGEIA5 latest updates. THKS so much for all
