Description Andrey 2015-05-05 06:08:20 UTC
Test on:
Calculate Linux 14.16 (Kde5 + i3), Kubuntu 15.04
LibreOffice 4.4.1.2, 4.4.2.2 (gentoo compiled and debian binaries both)
Intel x86_64

I have a doc file with 444 access right opened and a clear Impress presentation. Then I copy-paste text from doc to Impress all goes right. But if I try to save file, LibreOffice hangs or give error "Error saving document". If Impress file is never saved, when LibreOffice will experienced 100% cpu load and processes will hangs.

OK, I could repro with this file.

Error saving the document Untitled1:
Write Error.
The file could not be written.

I also got a hang on first try, didn't even save then.

Doesn't need to be in /tmp

Error already in 4.2.8.2.

However, it does not give an error on 3.5.0!
Adding bibisect request.

This appears to have begun at the below commit.
Adding Cc: to vmiklos@collabora.co.uk; Could you possibly take a look at this one? Thanks

(I can't reproduce a hang, although if you paste the *whole* .doc into a presentation slide it's certainly quite slow after)

I could reproduce the saving error on libreoffice-5-0-branch-point, but not on master. bisect says
