Created attachment 115493 [details] Example w/missing names in 4.4.3.2 that are present in 4.2.7.2. In LibreOffice 4.4.3.2, the attached file has some names missing. If you go into Insert->Names->Manage, you'll see that names al_ay, al_c, and quite a few others don't show up, although they're evidently present because the sheet works. 4.2.7.2 shows all of the names in the Manage Names dialog. Marking Critical because no workaround, although this is likely not a very common situation because most people probably don't abuse names to the degree I do in this spreadsheet.
I can not confirm with Version: 5.0.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: ceb6f473837261f2a6e43e028ce9da3daccc2f6c TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2015-05-11_13:16:38 names al_ay, al_c are present in UI.
How do I get that build to test?
Hello, you can download here: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/
Confirm that at least those names are still present with 5.0 alpha.
Works also in Version: 4.4.4.0.0+ Build ID: aa2c7cb6d34de5ba673bb17d0d0d51ee08e06f8b TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:libreoffice-4-4, Time: 2015-05-02_19:02:44 but names are not sorted (are almost at the end of the list). Closing bug as worksforme.
Unsorted names are a problem themselves; it makes it hard to view. I'm reopening it as normal priority. If you prefer, I could file a separate bug.

Hello, I have not 5.0 build available for now, but IIRC in build 5.0 are names sorted correctly? => WFM If in build 5.0 are names not sorted, set to unconfirmed.
It appeared to be correct in 5.0. What about 4.5?
Adding backportRequest at raal's request.
