This is what happening I selected World and applied gradient and it applied for the whole slide

In LO IMPRESS select FORMAT -> Area -> Gradient, you can fill the gradient color. However it would be applied to entire slide even though if we select for text

This is happening when I select People and applying gradient

And when it is saved with pptx format and reopened that gradient is not visible at all

I guess this is a bug that might better be titled "implement missing EditEngine Text Gradient Support" =) at least, that's what I understand it as.

Can't reproduce with Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 7725eff80a7bc3f3e422e56e1cd7bfa531f19a70
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; 
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

Therefore I'll close this bug as RESOLVED WORKSFORME.

If this is wrong, please reopen the bug or, if you've a patch that fixed it, change the status to FIXED.
