Created attachment 115778 [details] .odp file to reproduce the bug Steps to reproduce the problem: - open the attached .odp presentation - go to slide 8 => notice that the image is not displayed and instead the link address is displayed - select the image - right-click and select "modify image" - insert the attached .png image => the image is now displayed - save the .odp file - re-open the .odp file - go to slide 8 => the image disappeared!

I forgot to add a step: after saving the .odp file, you must of course close it.
Hi The problem arises only if you do not pay attention to save the image in the expected folder: "Documents\Tube de courant" and with the name: Tube_courant_DomeC.png Other ways to proceed: - Check the "link" box when changing image. - Menu Edit> Links. Select Tube_courant_DomeC.png, click Modify to pick the image, regardless of its location and name. I still set status to NEW because the link should be removed (as in Writer) as you do not check the link box. I change summary from: Some images disappeared in this presentation To: Link should be removed when changing image without linking. I confirm this bug is still present on LO 5.1.5.2 on debian 8 (jessie).
