If the templates folder refers to a network location (not local like C:\ but a network path, the folder is set in Tools - Options - Paths - Templates), closing any files from the gray X ( top right of the screen under the red X that closes all the Libreoffice windows), the program takes long time to close (e.g. variable times depending on the size of the templates folder on the network)..it seems to perform something like a template's synchronization that slows down the closing file. I tried with various 4.4 versions (even 4.4.3.2) which show the problem (only if the templates are configured on a network path) and different Windows versions (from XP to 8.1), while Libreoffice version 4.1.1.2 or 4.3.5 doesn't show the problem in the same Windows versions. I looked for a way to turn off this feature but I didn't find a way. I hope in future versions this problem will be resolved. Thanks.

Does not concern Basic, changed component to LibreOffice.

Abram: does the problem still happen in LibreOffice 5.2?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
