Created attachment 115959 [details] Screenshot Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start LibO-Dev 2. Make a New Writer 3. Open Styles and Formatting / SideBar 4. "Horizontal Line" (KeyID:dUEKF) is too small
Well it is a line ;) Confirmed. There appears to be a maximum size allowed for the style name when it appears in the Styles and Formatting pane. Perhaps there should be a minimum. V Stuart Foote, thanks for information. bug 107750 comment #1 : > The previews in the Styles and Formatting deck of the sidebar are rendered > in system font--no preview generated. Toggling the "Show previews" checkbox > will collapse the list--as if a preview was composed--but only an unstyled > rendering of the Style name shows. Screenshots are previews, and if you uncheck "Show previews", they will not be reproduced. This bug is WORKSFORME?
Correct, with "Show previews" the list shows the Name of the style rendered with the font and point size assigned to the style. But still a valid issue. The actual Horizontal lines are a paragraph style with a lower edge border set active, since it is a Paragraph style it has to have font assigned (Liberation Serif, or Tahoma) set at 6pt font size, so when enabled its "preview" (of its name) in the GUI is a bit small. With preview off, it is rendered in system font at default size. It should be possible to set a minimum font size for naming the preview, or possibly to use a scalable graphic SVG/PNG. Setting as an Enhancement.
I think this is a design. This is the display of the size set in "Horizontal Line." "Show previews" can be unchucked to make it readable.
