Created attachment 116031 [details] screenshot - open a console and execute this command: soffice.exe - h A window is opened showing you the possibilities of command line parameters. It has a "Close" button. The bug is that one cannot click on the button to close the window.
When I click close, the window closes ok. Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 4.4.3.2 Build ID: 88805f81e9fe61362df02b9941de8e38a9b5fd16 Locale: fi_FI Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: be8512f99bc9ab18e55aabe01cc0ab1e6baea9e6 TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2015-06-08_05:58:40 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI)
I can confirm with LO 4.4.3, win7. Close button is inactive when click with a mouse, but works when I hit enter key.
Confirmed with LO 5.1.0.3 on Windows 7.
Created attachment 128036 [details] 4.2 screenshot So the problem doesnt happen when there is a little bit of text output (e.g. soffice -v), but does when there is alot of output because the text is overlapping the close button as can be seen in the 4.2 screenshot.
So this is a regression as it is fine in 4.0. Not sure if it started in 4.1 or 4.2.
I believe that changes to bug 100826 have made this bug obsolete. Now the --help output goes to a console window (either parent's if used from CLI, or a new one) on Windows, just like on other OSes.
Ok, let's close as WFM as it's not really a direct fix :)
