Applying some attributes to a selected text via the "Eigenschaften" sidebar does not work.
Example: 
I want to apply double underline to a selected text. the "Eigenschaften" sidebar offers a dropdown menu for several underline styles. Non of them with the exception of single (default) underline works.

Double underline must be selected by format/character/.....

Characters spacing button also don't work

Can't repro what Helmut & raal said.
Maybe test with a newer version to see, if this can be closed?

Dos not occur any more in 5.0.0.0.beta2 and 5.0.0.0.beta3
