Presently 'Hide Images' (.uno:Graphic) is in the View menu in writer and it has a different behaviour to all the other toggle buttons in the menu, so it would be good to change it so unchecking the 'Images' entry hides images.

-> .uno:Graphic is renamed .uno:ShowGraphics
-> Hide ~Images is renamed "~Images and Charts"

Philippe Jung committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at
