Description zahra 2015-06-07 08:22:44 UTC
libreoffice writer for me on windows xp is very slow and take a long time to open a document.
after opening it when i read it or edit it most of times it crashes and the next time that i open the document again, it needs document recovery.
i think it needs powerfull cpu and high ram.
i wanted good performance even in low system hardware.
i need only libreoffice writer and i cant select which features of libreoffice that i want install.
the complete libreoffice package needs many system resources and specify many hard disk space.
i want to download only libreoffice writer and for people have situation to only download and install which feature they want.
for people that who want complete package they can download it completely like before and for people like me who need a specific feature we can install and even download this special feature we need.
for example i mentioned above, i only need libreoffice writer.

Several things here:
1) you'd like to select which component you want to install whereas LO is a bundle.

2) you talk about perf problems but you don't indicate LibreOffice version and what's the hardware (CPU, RAM, hard disk), you don't attach an example document

3) you talk about crash problems but here again, we don't have LO version or the step by step process to reproduce the crash(es). Also does it concern a specific document or any doc

In brief, open 1 bugtracker per problem for the rest, you can take a look here:

meanwhile, let's close this one.
