Created attachment 116417 [details] contains original ppt document and exported svg showing artifacts In the attached powerpoint document, I've created a picture with a number of curved lines in it. When viewed in libre office, the document looks very good, I'd say almost exactly as it is in powerpoint. I need to export the document to SVG, so when I do that, I get what looks like starbursts added to each end of the curved line -- and in some cases, offset a little bit from the line. it is only curved lines that see this side effect. There are a few lines created with the straight line tool in powerpoint -- and those have no starbursts. I did thins in libre office 4.3 ... so downloaded 4.4.3.2 and got the same result.

Created attachment 144447 [details] Screenshot of SVG opened in Inkscape/Firefox I can open the ppt and export as SVG. Screenshot of the SVG open in Inkscape (left) and Firefox (right) attached. No starbursts, Inkscape looks the same as in LO as far as I can see, when opened with FF lots of squares appear! Ubuntu 18.04 LO Version: 6.0.3.2 Build ID: 1:6.0.3-0ubuntu1
When I export in current master and open in Safari, the SVG rendering looks very good!
