Description Eric M 2015-06-13 12:58:32 UTC
This problem was first encountered with the first x64 LO5 Alpha. I have so far been unable to identify any possible cause in my system set up. The problem still exists in the latest x64 LO 5 Beta 3 build.
Only the x64 build is affected
All other LO 4 versions (inc 4.4) work flawlessly.

**Steps :-**

*open Libre Office (Office start menu.) select existing document (any document) to open. Document loads and writer immediately crashes when load is complete.*

**or:-**

*open Libre Office (Office start menu.)
select create new text document
Writer loads and immediately crashes when new document template load is complete.*

**or: -**

*open Libre writer
Writer loads and immediately crashes when new document template load is complete.*

In all cases, the office.bin process remains running after the UI crashes.
The Behaviour is the same with a completely fresh profile.

Aside from being a little suspicions about JRE (8.45), I'm out of ideas.
Regards
Eric M

Is it a jre 64bits? If not could you install one?
Also, if it's an upgrade, try to rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows)
BTW, LO 5.0 also uses "4" for directory profile.

Yes, only the developer versions uses libreofficedev/4 instead of libreoffice/4, which should be corrected on the wiki.
