I have kind of specific configuration with Claws-mail as default email program. It is claws fault that its default email programm settings are not working properly on Windows and claws cannot manage system calls for email function, but writer crashes on such a setting, which should not be a way to handle such error. Calc correctly reports, that it did not found working email client configuration and with OK button will not do anything else that that, writer just crashes. I tried both Menu>sendas>emailasattachment and also toolbar icon.
steps to reproduce: 1) install claws-mail and during install confirm you want to make it default email programm. 2) send writer document as email attachment
This should be fixed in a later release candidate of 5.0. Please test and if it doesn't crash anymore, set this as RESOLVED DUPLICATE of 92308
