Simple file

After changing slide background to blach and font to white, the text appears with a white background.

Only text in fields from the master (both title as well as text field) are concerned, but not text added in independent text fields).

When clicking inside the text it appears normally.

The problem has also been described here with sample file:
http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/51557/why-am-i-getting-a-white-background-behind-text-titles-and-subtitles-only-in-libreoffice-impress/
The solution presented there doesn't work though.

Another sample file (with screen shot) is attached.

I'm working on Linux Mint Mate. Not sure if other systems are concerned by this bug.
Comment 1 Simon 2015-07-10 14:13:28 UTC
I'm adding that in presentation mode or when exporting as a PDF, the text appears normal.
Comment 2 Joel Madero 2015-07-11 20:40:37 UTC
Setting to:

Normal - can prevent high quality work;

Major is reserved for loss of data and crashes. This does not qualify. Thanks!
Comment 3 Joel Madero 2015-07-12 16:26:53 UTC
Ubuntu 15.04
LibreOffice 3.3 - file looks fine;
LibreOffice 4.4.4.2 - file not okay

Marking as:
New;
Normal - can prevent high quality work but won't prevent it;
High - regression

Keyword: regression

Yet another victim of bug 88295. Tough luck, your document has been broken^W produced by LibO newer than 4.3.X and older than 4.4.4 and it can be repaired only manually now. Bug 88056, comment 5 explains how.

Fix for bug 88295 prevents this from happening in the newly created documents

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 88295 ***

Think that should have been https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88055#c5 for the manual repair flushing through flat ODF for editing.
