If I'm starting Writer and going fast to the menu bar -> Insert -> Fields -> "More Fields..." the menu list from "Insert" doesn't close then.

consider upgrading to 4.4.4.2
Comment 2 Jean-Baptiste Faure 2015-07-11 07:37:23 UTC
Which Linux distribution ? I guess your LibreOffice version is the one provided by your distribution, right? Could you try to upgrade your LO version, for example by using official PPA if you are using Ubuntu ?

Set status to needinfo, please, set it back to unconfirmed or to WorksForMe once you have provided requested information.

I had tested this with the version from the Ubuntu 15.10 dev repository. But there is already a newer version available (4.4.4.3) where this issue does still exists.

Not reproduced.
Ubuntu with Unity?

Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit
Version: 4.4.4.3
Build ID: 40m0(Build:3)
Locale: en_US.UTF-8

For me a bug report against LibreOffice for a non released version of a Linux distribution (Ubuntu 15.10 is still in beta state) should not be considered as valid and should be reported against the Linux distribution.

JBF has a point.. 15.10 has the option to use Mir + Unity 8 instead of X11 + Unity 7. Is this bug manifesting in the regular Unity 7?

Not for me (Ubuntu 15.04 x86-64 with Unity 7).

I'm using LXDE as desktop environment (with Openbox as window manager).

LibO 4.4.5.2 is out. give it a try to see if bug persists

I also have it sometimes with current 4.4 and master under Fedora 22 (64-bit), but it's hard to reproduce. I can't find a reliable way of reproducing it.
