Description of problem: In Impress and Draw, selecting the option to adjust the width, it does not operate automatically (like Writer) to expand/collapse the sidebar or other panel. Version-Release number of selected component: Fedora 22 (GNOME 3.16.2) LibreOffice 5.0.0.3 (Build ID: f79b5ba13f5e6cbad23f8038060e556217e66632) How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a document in LO Draw or Impress 2. Select Fit width in statusbar option in menu or View|Zoom|Page width 3. Expand or hide sidebar Current results: To expand/hide the sidebar, page width does not change automatically (depending on the size of page, the sidebar is superposed to content) Expected results: To expand/hide the sidebar, page width automatically adjusts to the available screen width (like Writer)
I see no problem here. Perhaps you do not use the suitable zoom setting? Menu View > Zoom > Zoom... > Fit width and height > OK.
(In reply to Regina Henschel from comment #1) > I see no problem here. Perhaps you do not use the suitable zoom setting? > Menu View > Zoom > Zoom... > Fit width and height > OK. I mention the option is "Fit width" and not "Fit width and height". If you do the test in Writer, selecting the "fit width" option, the page width is automatically adjusted to the width available. If you expand the sidebar, automatically page width fit in the space available again. This automatic behavior does not occur in Draw, however, you select the zoom option every time you change the width available.
Confirmed with LibO 3.3.0 RC4 and AOO 3.4.0 Change version accordingly
