Description Olivier Mehani 2015-08-22 06:24:34 UTC
In pre-5 LibO, selecting text in Writer documents or Calc cells/textarea would copy it to the X11 paste buffer.

This doesn't appear to be the case with LibO 5.05. This is actually quite annoying, as it prevents copy/pasting to a number of other X11 application that don't use the Gnome (or other environment) clipboard.

I haven't seen any other report about this here, which is surprising, but I have noticed it on two separate ArchLinux amd64 machines.

As a matter of fact, it also doesn't work for the version information from the about box ). Here it goes.

Version: 5.0.0.5
Build ID: 5.0.0.5 Arch Linux build-1
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.utf8)

Come to think of it, Ctrl+C with a group of selected cell in Calc would also put the content in the Paste Buffer.
