Description hujan86 2015-08-25 04:52:05 UTC
I'd like to request the LibreOffice install package should allow the user to choose which program they want to install. For my case, I only need LibreWriter for personal work. I do not need Calc, Impress, Base and Draw. Currently the custom option for LibreOffice 5 installer only let met choose optional components and languages.

What would be the purpose of this? If it's file size - this won't help at all. Unlike Microsoft Office - LibreOffice code is entirely intertwined and a large portion of the file size is the "base system" (the code required for everything).

Oh sorry this has already been tackled and an expert developer said we're not going to implement it. If you want to know why I suggest you email the developer mailing list.
