Description bureautiquelibre 2015-09-11 08:48:24 UTC
This problem occurs rather frequently amongst our 5000 users (several per week) mostly with ODS files (doesn't seem to happen on .odt or .odp rare occurences with .odg).

When saved, some attributes (several of them sometimes) are created with a double occurence in the same element in the content.xml file causing loss of the document for a non expert user.

When loading the document, the error message looks like:

"Erreur de lecture. Erreur de format dans le fichier du sous-document content.xml à la position 2,474812(row,col)." (sorry for the error message in french)

I can confirm the bug

Any reason you're still at version 4.4.2? Please test again with one of the latest releases (4.4.5 or 5.0.1). (And JFYI, there was a fix in this area for 4.4.3 - see Bug 85496 comment 31.)

If the bug is still present in the latest release, please add clear reproduction steps and/or a file showing the bug. There is nothing we can do with this report otherwise. Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply anyway.
I'll close the bug and will make a new report if needed.

I did a search with 'content.xml' but did't look further than the title. Sorry about that.

BTW keeping 5K windows machines up to date on over 100 sites (10% with SDSL lines) with a 200MB package isn't that easy ... We try to upgrade as often as possible given our constraints.

Best Regards,
Eric Ficheux
