The English name for the paragraph style in question is "Bullets".
It uses OpenSymbol font.

Cloph told me on IRC that symbol fonts need special treatment and apparently the style list doesn't take this into account.
The font selection dropdown has this special replacement treatment implemented.

I will set to NEW as this is a known issue.
