Description Alex Bell 2015-09-15 23:55:37 UTC
This is a OS-wide convention. It works in a wide variety of Mac programs including TextEdit, Firefox, Chrome, Coda, etc. Mac users have come to expect it.

Please add this feature as a default. For people who work routinely with symbols, math, foreign languages, and unicode in general, this is an important convenience feature.

Thanks.

It's awkward for one-handed typing, but it would be useful.

Confirming also on

Version: 4.3.5.2
Build ID: 3a87456aaa6a95c63eea1c1b3201acedf0751bd5

resetting version to oldest version tested so far where bug is present

Also tested on LO 3672 release, and OOo 321 so this was never implemented, setting to Inherited from OOo
