sorry for my poor english : writter freezes each time I try to apply a format to a paragraph by right-click menu (format menu top of the LibO window works fine) windows 10 64 bits maybe same issue as described in 94262 though steps to reproduce it is different
Hello Cathy, Thank you for reporting the bug. Unfortunately without clear steps to reproduce it, we cannot track down the origin of the problem. Please provide a clearer set of step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the problem. Alternatively, if its possible for you to create and attach a screencast showing the steps, that would also be useful. There are various free screencast software available for use, including Camstudio (Windows), Jing (Mac), Simple Screen Recorder (Linux) or screencast-o-matic.com (Web).
Created attachment 118889 [details] menu paragraph
steps to reproduce the bug are very simple : again sorry for my english, and LibO is in french here (so I'm not sure how to translate menu items, screen capture in attachment) 1)type a text 2)highlight a paragraph 3)right-click : menu "paragraph..." : writter freezes forever (I have waited more than 10 minutes) I tried several times, same each time.
Hi Cathy, No need to apologize for your english, as it is fine. :D I am unable to reproduce this same behaviour. Can you let us know which version of Windows you are running and can you copy and paste the version, build and locale information from Help > About LibreOffice. It will look similar to the below information. Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: cbf3fac0a5a1be34b2e1a58da959debd24ebc017 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@70-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2015-09-17_07:03:22 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8) @Sophie: Seems like it may be a locale specific issue.
windows 10 64 bits Libre office Version: 4.4.5.2 Build ID: a22f674fd25a3b6f45bdebf25400ed2adff0ff99 Locale : fr_FR

Cathy: do you still get this with version 5.1.4? You could also try this, if it still continues: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
issue is fixed now (at least I can't reproduce it) libre office 5.2.1.3
