Description Richard Prins 2015-09-21 08:49:23 UTC
The drop down lists in the side bar have no drop shadow, while all the rest of the menus in LO do. So there's inconsistency.

Unable to locate drop shadow under menus.
Please attach a screenshot.

apparently not even all toolbar menus are consistent, some do have drop shadows, some don't (see screens)
Comment 6 Buovjaga 2015-09-23 05:14:46 UTC
Are you using Windows 8.1 or 10? I am not seeing any drop shadows in Windows 7, but it might also be because I have disabled all eyecandy effects.

I see the same thing that Richard showed in his screenshots under Win8.1 x64 using LibO 4.4.5.1.

status -> NEW

I suspect this minor UI inconsistency affects even the earliest release where LibO introduced the sidebar
Comment 8 Maxim Monastirsky 2015-09-24 08:01:26 UTC
This has nothing to do with the sidebar. attachment 118934 [details] shows a combobox, and in fact no combobox anywhere in the LO GUI shows a drop shadow, including the very same font name box from the formatting toolbar. So let's scope this bug on the issue showed in attachment 118936 [details].
