table format dialog

If you open the table format dialog, its background tab has a 'For' drop down menu which lists cell, row, and table, but not column. A user would have to select the column before opening the dialog if he wanted to set the background for the column.

A background does not belong to attributes available in  <style:table-columns-properties> element.
