Description Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired) 2015-09-28 22:54:49 UTC
When you insert a shape in LO, it insert it with the continuous line style and a line width of 0.00cm. This causes a problem because even though the line width is 0, it shows the border around the shape, and when a shape is set to a line width of 0 in some apps (e.g. Calligra Words), it doesnt show a border, which causes interoperability problems.

== Default border widths ==
Calligra    : 1pt
Google Docs : 1pt
WPS         : 1.25pt
MSO         : 2pt

Agreed. Should be either "no border" or a border with an actual value.
Considering the other tools defaults, I'd go for the 1.0pt border width.

Please add keyword 'needsUXEval' and CC 'libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org' if input from UX is needed.
