I wrote a simple file with two lines only (see the attachment): the first one is normal text without any formatting and the second line is bold (direct formatted).
If I use the "Clone Formatting" button from the first line to the second line, the second line remains in bold format. It does not work with double-click selection. It does not work with drag&drop selection.
Instead, if I clone the format from the second line to the first one, the first line becomes correctly bold.

Reproduced on Win 7 pro x64.
