Description bugcatcher1 2015-10-05 22:20:07 UTC
The File-save dialog is now a rectangle whose length is the full width of the screen, instead of the usual squarish dialog box. I am not, nor have I ever run Office in full-screen mode, so there is a switch that has been set by the developers, that causes this abnormal box width.

System Info:
System: Kernel: 3.16.0-38-generic x86_64 (64 bit)
Desktop: Cinnamon 2.6.13 Distro: Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela

           X.Org: 1.15.1 drivers: nouveau (unloaded: fbdev,vesa) Resolution: 1920x1080@60.0hz

Hi bugcatcher1,

I suppose this is a duplicate of bug 83373. You can test that in a daily or 5.0.3.
Reopen if it turns out to be another one, of course.
Thanks - Cor

The bug you mentioned was talking about long names pasted into filename area.

The dialog I am talking about happens when I click save, and is full-screen before I can even move the mouse, so not the same bug.

This is a new thing since upgrade to 5. Never had a problem before that.

Completely uninstalled libreoffice. Re-installed it. Dialog box is as it should be.

Chalk bug up to the demons of cyberspace.

Thank you for your work.
