The File-save dialog is now a rectangle whose length is the full width of the screen, instead of the usual squarish dialog box. I am not, nor have I ever run Office in full-screen mode, so there is a switch that has been set by the developers, that causes this abnormal box width. Hi bugcatcher1, I suppose this is a duplicate of bug 83373. You can test that in a daily or 5.0.3. Reopen if it turns out to be another one, of course. Thanks - Cor *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 83373 ***
The bug you mentioned was talking about long names pasted into filename area. The dialog I am talking about happens when I click save, and is full-screen before I can even move the mouse, so not the same bug. This is a new thing since upgrade to 5. Never had a problem before that. bugcatcher
@bugcatcher: Please attach a screenshot of the dialog you're talking about. Thanks. Setting to NEEDINFO until a screenshot is provided.
Completely uninstalled libreoffice. Re-installed it. Dialog box is as it should be. Chalk bug up to the demons of cyberspace. Thank you for your work.
