Running on Windows 10.  I was trying to update an earlier version of LibreOffice.  I installed and opened the software.  Shows LibreOffice but screen is black with no other options.  Removed LibreOffice from computer and re downloaded.  Same result. Program not worth much if it doesn't work.  The older version worked OK.

What's your graphics card? Would be great if you could also try 5.0.3 RC, as it contains a fix for similar problems: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/?version=5.0.3. Thanks.

Reporter confirmed in a private mail that it runs in VM, and installing 5.0.3 solved the problem.
