With .doc documents, the wordcount feature doesn't work. Shows the document as empty.

Work around 1: select all text and word count.
Work around 2: Convert to .odt - and work count works.

Confirmed for 5.0.2, initial loading shows word count / character count as zero. But once you start typing, word count gets updated. So it's only the initial state after loading.

FWIW, it still worked in 4.3.5.2
