Created attachment 119987 [details] screenshot of comparison between PDF and Scribus Posted on Scribus Bugtracker originally (http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=13464) as a private ticket. The PUB file was submitted privately so I will not attach it respecting OP's privacy. libmspub 1.2.0 on Scribus latest bleeding edge 1.5.1 version. LO v5.0.2.2 was used. You can see from the screenshots that the import went really well except for some minor issues. Waiting for off-ticket contact in order to submit PUB for testing an perhaps improving the importer. Thanks in advance /Kunda

please confirm
Thanks for the minimal example, is the only difference that the small black rounded rectangle should be white?
Kunda, please provide the requested detail.

That's pretty close to what the sample looks like when opened in LO (mind you, it's simplified compared to the original screenshots), thanks Dennis! My assessment in comment 5 was correct, the small black rounded rectangle should be white. In 6.1 a regression was introduced, and now the background isn't shown (this is in LO, not in the libmspub), I opened bug 120871 on that. Checked with LO 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ (f9e83fe5ec5550a02f8ccd9caaf0fc9b0ad35902) / Ubuntu 18.04.
