Description aybuke 2015-10-30 11:28:41 UTC
When I want to copying to multiple sheets, should be there:

A1.Open a new Calc document

A2.Fill in the cell with character (A1="abcd")

A3.Create new sheets at the bottom of the Calc document (Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3)

A4.Copy the characters that you wrote ("abcd" in A1) on the first page (with CTRL+C)

A5. Select all desired sheets(e.g. Select Sheet2) by holding down the Ctrl key
Verify that all selected sheets are now white.

A6.Paste the selected characters("abcd" in A1 on the Sheet1)(with CTRL+V)
Verify that appear the selected characters in the identical positions to all desired sheets.

I filled in cell on sheet1, then created sheet2 and 3.
but filled cell on the first sheet moves to second sheet. (step A4 is failed)

Can not confirm on Win10, LibreOffice Version: 5.0.4.2
Build ID: 2b9802c1994aa0b7dc6079e128979269cf95bc78.

1. Opened a new spreadsheet.
2. Entered "abcd" into Sheet1.A1
3. Added Sheet2 and Sheet3
4. Ctrl+C on Sheet1.A1
5. Ctrl+LeftClick on Sheet2 and Sheet3
6. Ctrl+V on Sheet1.A1
7. Sheet1.A1 Sheet2.A1 and Sheet3.A1 are all filled with "abcd". Nothing seems misplaced. Ctrl+X works the same way.

Is there anything we miss?

here, I can't copy on Sheet1. sheet1's content "abcd" looks to sheet2. sheet1 is blank after step 3.

You mean you enter abcd, but do not confirm it by pressing enter or tab.

I can reproduce that.

I guess that is not the intended result as formulas do stay alive in the first sheet after adding sheets.

As Buovjaga mentioned in comment 4, this behavior seems to be intended. I suggest WONTFIX.
Comment 6 Heiko Tietze 2017-07-20 12:58:51 UTC
Don't get it. When I enter 'abc' but do not confirm the selection is empty and copy will not add the cell to the clipboard. Please elaborate, aybuke.

Quick clean-up with WF acc. Thomas' comment 5; feel free to reopen.
