Open attachment https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=116794 from bug 92306. Do this in 5.0.2.1 and see that it counts 13 pages. Do this in 5.0.2.2 and see that is counts 17 pages (approximately) In that situation: 1. Do Ctrl+End few times, until the end of the document. There are some nearly empty pages. 2. Turn non printing characters on (if off). In the last (or the last but one..) header there are five paragraph marks at the left. 3. Put the cursor in the lower one. (*) 4. Do backspace once.. > The page count immediately goes back to 13. 5. Do Ctrl+Z > The deleted paragraph comes back, ánd the page count stays fine :) :) Great joy. But interesting problem. * I'll attach a screen shot to illustrate my position for this.

5.1.0-alpha1 has the same problem
MSO 3 pages, LO 503 3 pages, LO 51+ 4 pages.
So confirmed by Timur. See also https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=120270 attached at the other issue.
Cor, I didn't confirm the problem you specified, because you count 13/17 pages, and I wrote it's 3/4 pages. The document doesn't look good and I ask whether this bug covers difference on page 2 when compared MSO 2010 with LO 51+ master 2015-11-03: attachment 120270 [details].
(In reply to Timur from comment #5) > Cor, I didn't confirm the problem you specified, because you count 13/17 > pages, and I wrote it's 3/4 pages. I thought you meant another test document,.. Strange that you only have so few pages :) > The document doesn't look good and I ask whether this bug covers difference > on page 2 when compared MSO 2010 with LO 51+ master 2015-11-03: attachment > 120270 [details]. It looks good/reasonable for me, also in 510-alpha-1 (that last one has the same rendering problem as 5.0.3) Using Ubuntu 32 bits, OpenGL turned off
Created attachment 120437 [details] screen shot first two pages in 5,1,0-alpha1
Created attachment 120438 [details] correct attachment for this problem oops :\ The attachment I pointed to in comment #0 is the wrong one. Now the correct one is attached
thus this one is unconfirmed
With 5.1 upon opening, page count is very briefly 17, but then switches to 13. 5.0.3 shows the nearly empty pages. 5.1 is ok in that regard. 3.5.0 is even more borked than 5.0, but I will not include it in version consideration.
