Go to preferences --> LibreOffice --> Advanced --> expert config

double click on the window title --> no result

Expected: get maximized window as always.

I am not sure if I understand it right.  You wrote that with a double click on the window title this should maximise the window?  This is not the case for any dialog box in LO and I don't know whether this should behave that way.  Therefore, I am not sure that this is a bug.

Reasonable enhancement request, since this window is most useful maximized, usually.

Note that this works already in Ubuntu’s Unity desktop…

Adolfo Jayme Barrientos committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":

tdf#95594 Remove “dialog” type hint from Expert Config window

It will be available in 5.1.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More

Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.

Each window manager (including Windows’ DWM) is free to do whatever it pleases, so please test this change to ensure it actually behaves as you expect — I don’t have Windows right now.
