Sorry, but tried quite some stuff, in the current form aw080 is hust too far away from what we have. I will have to slowly integrate useful parts, but this task in it's single-step can be closed.

@Armin, no worries. But, how-about making this a meta and as you integrate pieces from aw080 you post a note here? That would help to capture the development history, and let others give you a hand when you need it.

Well, I can 'take' the task and - if I do not forget - may add suff here when I get the chance to add aw080 stuff. But it will be more like 'If I have the chance to add someting inside another task where it solves a problem' so not sure if this will ever be used...
