Win 8.1 Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha1+ (x64) Build ID: 186f365a2c541c51e404b1fa819f35c9152adaf1 TinderBox: Win-x86_64@62-TDF, Branch:MASTER, Time: 2015-11-19_23:26:12 The order in the View menu seems different to the Display Mode. Is is possible for the order in the View menu and Display Mode changed to be consistent? Thank you
Ok, so the display mode tabs, yeah.. Setting to NEW. Win 7 Pro 64-bit Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 66d2b72667792cb18b25805387824d636e2a455c TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2015-11-18_02:35:53 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI)
So the view menu is sorted according to the view tab bar (Normal, Outline, Notes), while the display mode button has Notes before Outline.

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Bug still present in: Version: 5.4.3.1 Build ID: 32c8895c6cae21571f364dbb059f419a743ee44d
I can fix this, but the question comes down to whether it should be fixed, as presently you have normal next to notes on the top row and master slide next to master notes on the third row, which gives some uniformity in the rows, which would be lost if the top row was changed to normal next to outline. I would vote to keep it as is. Heiko, Stuart, Adolfo: your thoughts? https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/sd/source/ui/controller/displaymodecontroller.cxx#78
The patch is here, if the agreement is to go forward https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/43966/
Wonder why the order Normal-Outline-Notes... is what I have in fresh and master. But anyway, I agree with the request to make it consistent with the tabs.
