Description Jonathan Ernst 2015-11-20 16:23:27 UTC
I was only able to reproduce it (every time) on Windows 10 with French LibreOffice (5.0.2.2 and 5.0.3.2)

Note : On my Linux computer I don't have this issue.
Note : might be locale related (I have seen similar bug reports for the German version, not reproducible in English but that might be another bug)

Steps to reproduce :

Fresh Libreoffice install
Fresh libreoffice profile

1) Open LibreOffice Writer
2) Tools-> Mail merge wizard
3) Next
4) Next
5) Click on select address list

-> Crash every single time

Thanks a lot.

For me not reproducible with LO 5.0.3.2, Win 8.1

No crash here.

You could try getting a backtrace: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/How_to_get_a_backtrace_with_WinDbg

Maybe even this for good measure: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have more information.

You didn't specify the symbols path so the backtrace is not useful.

Please copy & paste the path to File - Symbol file path in WinDbg according to the wiki instructions.

I hope that's ok now.

Thanks, setting to NEW.
Comment 8 Jonathan Ernst 2015-11-24 16:29:05 UTC
I downgraded to LibreOffice Still on the same machine and everything works again so this is a regression between 4.4.6 and 5.0.2.2.

All the best.
Comment 9 Florin 2015-11-25 10:24:19 UTC
Tested on Win7 and Win10 same result with this version (5.0.2.2). My problem to downgrade is ... I have this version on 60 cumputers ...

Thank you.

I can not confirm with Version: 5.2.0.0.alpha0+; win7. Please could you retest with dev version? You can download it here: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/

Jonathan/Florin: Any success testing with a 5.2-master build? It'd be great for us to know if this problem has been fixed or continues to persist. Thanks!

This bug was last confirmed in Nov 2015 (8 months ago). Can anyone reproduce with a modern build? (NB: LO 5.2 pre-release is now available)

Last test (and only test in 2016) resulted in NOREPRO, and there hasn't yet been a response to requests to re-test, so I'm marking this RESOLVED WORKSFORME.

If someone can reproduce this bug with a modern build (let's say v5.2.0.3 or later), please pipe up! Thanks!
