Description Hendrik Maryns 2015-11-22 08:32:28 UTC
It would be a great enhancement if track changes would be available in Draw and Impress also.
Comment 1 A (Andy) 2015-11-23 20:39:07 UTC
To have this feature would be very good.

I needed this feature just now... to provide feedback on a presentation someone sent me.

Anyway, the keywords field says "needsUXEval", so I'll put in my 2 cents.

* A UI very similar to what we have in LO Writer (and MS Word): Auto-colorized additions and deletions, strikethrough for deletions, trace lines to balloons for comments, placed outside the slide.
* Revisions not visible in presentation mode, and for animation purposes.

(In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #3)
Sorry, that last comment was about Impress only; I'm not sure how Track Changes should work with Draw. In fact, I'd consider splitting the two bugs, since the latter initiative is more conceptually complex IMHO.
Comment 5 Heiko Tietze 2018-11-21 07:51:59 UTC
Impress is a specialized Draw, so both will work very similarly. Additional to your ideas we should request the sidebar deck (for some reason still an experimental feature).

Check back if more detailed requirements or mockups are needed.

Yes, this feature would be great in LibreOffice Impress! Has there been any progress in the past almost 8 years?
