Description Iqbal Sajid 2015-12-01 06:26:11 UTC
Application CRASHED (Multiple times)

I created a presentation and saved it in native format i.e. odp. all fine.
I wanted to open it in power point so saved as pptx. all fine.
when I opened it again in LibreOffice Impress, background colour from all slides was removed, it was gradient. lets accept it as while saving the document in pptx, there was a warning (some of the formats will be lost).

PROBLEM: when i changed the background again to gradient it changed only one slide. I changed for the second slide, Application was CRASHED.
this was done 3-4 times.

I opened the document 5th time, and changed slide 2 first. it changed all slides' background (as expected in powerpoint) but did not changed slide 1.

as soon as i changed slide 1, application CRASHED.

I have regular crashes with setting background too, but fail to find reliable steps. Usually it is after "some other editing"...

NB for me not related to file format.

It looks much like Bug 93978, which was fixed recently. Would be great to retrieve a backtrace of the crash, so we can know for sure:

Thanks.

Hi Igbal,

Thanks for filing, by the way. I think we can safely set this as duplicate of bug 93978

Please keep an eye on that one and reopen this one if a fix (and the release of that in a nightly build ;) ) does not solve the problem.
Best regards,
Cor
